As the name suggests, this is a big update. We wanted to give users a massive increase in flexibility, capability, and visibility with the final major update of the year. This update follows the theme of tying features/improvements that we may have launched piecemeal into one update, making it hopefully easier to come to grips with. We cannot wait to see what you do with the increased control over your trackers this update gives you. Let's get to it.
Apps - Mobile Version 5.15.4, Web Version 1.21.0
Let’s dig in, see what the meat and potatoes of this update are :
- New “Reporting Modes” allow user to customize the ping rate of trackers.
- New “Online / Offline” alerts notify users when trackers go offline and come back online.
- Trackers connected to M4 and M6 battery packs now see internal and external battery information.
- New tracker “About” section included in Position Snapshot.
- Bug fixes and performance improvements
New “Reporting Modes” allow user to customize the ping rate of trackers.
Users now have the ability to change the update frequency of the trackers on the fly. This is a major change. Reacting to a changing situation is much easier when the update frequency becomes a usable tool. Whether you need more battery or more speed, you now have the chance to choose. The increase in user control over the trackers is massive, this is a change that can really add a high level of capability to any situation.
Available modes are:
GL300:
Performance - 5 seconds moving, 3 hours stopped
Fast - 30 seconds moving, 3 hours stopped
Normal - 60 seconds moving, 3 hours stopped

Extreme Power Saving - Every 24 hours at a scheduled time.
New “Online / Offline” alerts notify users when trackers go offline and come back online.
New alerts that will notify users of connected status change of a device. This allows for better maintenance of, and visibility into, current tracker statuses. It will also allow for quicker recovery from an offline event.
Trackers connected to M4 and M6 battery packs now see internal and external battery information.
The applications will now show the battery level for both the battery pack and connected tracker separately. There has long been user confusion on which level is showing, so this will clear up any misunderstanding. This gives you full visibility into the battery status for those units.
New tracker “About” section included in Position Snapshot.
A detailed look at the facts about a specific tracker. This includes, IMEI number, Current reporting mode and more. Exposing these tracker facts, simply increases visibility and allows for fewer mistakes in IDing trackers during operation.
Overall, this is a very exciting update, and we cannot wait to see how our users leverage it!
