FAQs
How long does the battery last?
It depends on how often you want location updates. At 5-second updates (fastest tracking), you'll get about 9 days. At 60-second updates, around 13-14 days. You can adjust this in the app based on whether you need real-time tracking or just periodic check-ins.
How do I charge it?
USB-C cable and wall adapter are included. When the battery gets low, you'll get a notification. Just pull the tracker out of the magnetic case, charge it up, and put it back. No tools needed.
How strong is the magnet?
About 60 pounds of pull force. It's not coming off on its own—even on rough roads or highways. The case is designed for trailers, construction equipment, fleet vehicles, and other metal surfaces.
Is it waterproof?
The case is weather-resistant and the tracker itself is IPX5 rated, meaning it handles rain, splashing, and typical outdoor conditions. It's not designed for full submersion.
Where can I put this?
Anywhere with a metal surface: under a vehicle frame, inside a trailer wheel well, on construction equipment, tool boxes, or cargo containers. The case is under 4 inches, so it fits in tight spots.
What if I want to track something that isn't metal?
You can remove the tracker from the magnetic case and place it directly in a bag, glovebox, toolbox, or luggage. The case is just for magnetic mounting—the tracker works fine on its own.
How is this different from your hardwired trackers?
This is portable and battery-powered, so there's no installation—just charge it and go. The tradeoff is you'll need to recharge it every 1-2 weeks. If you want set-it-and-forget-it tracking on a vehicle, the OBD or Wired trackers are better since they draw power from the vehicle.
