A GPS tracking device (“Device”) may be returned within 30 days of delivery, subject to the requirements herein, for full refund of the price of the Device, if any. Returns or exchanges missing original contents or with damage to the Device or the original box may be refused or may be subject to a restocking fee, at the discretion of Spytec GPS. Customer may also be charged up to the purchase price for any Device(s) provided as a part of Spytec GPS’ “Try Before You Buy” program that Customer returns partially, or totally, damaged at the discretion of Spytec GPS.
Within 30 days from the date of delivery, and subject to the exclusions herein, Customer may request to exchange or replace any Device that does not function in material accordance with Spytec GPS’ published specifications in effect at the date of sale for a replacement Device. The replacement Device provided by Spytec GPS shall be at the discretion of Spytec GPS, provided that such Device shall be a reasonably similar or superior model, which may be new or refurbished.
Subject to the exclusions herein, within one (1) year from the date of delivery, accessories that do not function in material accordance with Spytec GPS’ published specifications in effect at the date of sale may be exchanged for a replacement accessory. The replacement accessory provided by Spytec GPS shall be at the discretion of Spytec GPS, provided that such accessory shall be a reasonably similar accessory, which may be new or refurbished. Accessories shall not otherwise be returnable or exchangeable.
The return and exchange provisions herein shall not apply to a Device or accessory that has been subject to a Non-Returnable Activity. “Non-Returnable Activity” shall mean, any item that has been (a) subjected to abuse, misuse, neglect, negligence, accident, improper testing, improper installation, improper storage, improper handling, abnormal physical stress, abnormal environmental conditions or use contrary to any instructions issued by Spytec GPS; (b) reconstructed, repaired, or altered by persons or entities other than Spytec or its authorized representative; or (c) used with any third-party product, hardware or product that has not been previously approved in writing by Spytec GPS.
Customer shall notify Spytec GPS, in writing, of any alleged claim or defect within 10 days from the date Customer discovers, or upon reasonable inspection should have discovered, such alleged claim or defect. Spytec GPS reserves the right to check any product returned as malfunctioning or defective in order to confirm such malfunction or defect. No claim may be submitted for any Device or accessory provided in connection with Spytec GPS’ “Try Before You Buy” program, unless the Customer begins a paid subscription to Spytec GPS’ Services (as defined in the Spytec GPS Business Terms of Service) immediately thereafter. Spytec GPS shall not be required to accept for return or exchange any product or Device based upon any defect or malfunction that it is not able to confirm or replicate.
Any right of Customer to any return or exchange of any Device or accessory shall be conditioned upon Customer’s complete and accurate written notification to Spytec GPS concerning the basis for the return or exchange, and Customer’s compliance with all reasonable instructions and procedures given to Customer by Spytec GPS, as well as compliance with the other terms herein.
All returns require a valid RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number on the front of the package or the shipment may be refused by our warehouse. Request an RMA by filling out the form at the bottom of this page.
Other than in connection with defective equipment, Customer shall be responsible for all shipping costs associated with any return or exchange. Spytec GPS may impose additional restrictions and limitations with regard to returns or exchanges originating from outside the United States or seeking expedited shipping.
Customer shall bear all risk of loss or damage while any Device is in Customer’s possession, under its control, or in transit, and Spytec GPS is not liable for packages lost or damaged during shipment.
No Return/Exchange on the following:
- Memory cards once any of the packaging has been opened.
- Computer/cellphone software once any of the packaging has been opened.
- Counter-surveillance devices once any of the packaging has been opened.
- GPS tracking service plans are nonrefundable.
